When you are getting ready for your day, does the idea of tights usually excite you to get dressed?
On cold Winter days I get super excited about wearing tights. On Hot Summer days? not so much.

What could make tights a more central accessory in your wardrobe?
For summer days to make them a central accessory in my wardrobe, they would have to be breatheable. So they don't stick to your skin.

We Love Colors has tights for women of all shapes and sizes: How important is fit when it comes to your clothing choices? 
Fit is very important. You don't want to have tights that go up past your belly button. I know I want them to sit right at my waist line.

Do you just throw on what you have, or are you meticulous about everything fitting properly?
It all depends on if I'm going to stay home or if I'm going out. If I'm going to stay home I will throw whatever on. If I'm going out, I make sure I look good and well put together.

Comfort is important to most moms, but we generally like it if our "comfortable clothes" also look awesome! Did you find your We Love Colors leggings to fit in the "comfort zone"? 
Yes. They were super comfortable. When you have them on you feel like you are wearing nothing.

What is your favorite color to wear? To decorate with?
Pink and purple, but mainly pink is my all time favorite color.

Why do you love these colors so much?
I love that they are girly girl colors and I'm a girly girl all the way around.

Compared to leggings that you have previously worn, what did you enjoy most about wearing your We Love Colors leggings?
What I really enjoyed about wearing We Love Colors leggings was that they stayed up all day long. With other leggings I own, I have to keep pulling them up all day long and it drives me nuts. I also love the fact that you don't have to worry about getting a run in them due to their thickness.

Funtown at the Philadelphia International Children's Festival

Our friend Matt from Funtown emailed us these great pictures form the Philadelphia International Children's Festival. The 27th annual Philadelphia International Children’s Festival was held Thursday, April 7 – Saturday, April 9 at Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. The festival included family-friendly music, theater, and dance performances!

Funtown is a marketing and talent agency that focuses on nightlife entertainment. they have an exciting cast of artists on its roster that includes hoop dancers, fire performers, live painters, fan dancers, and other hard-to-find artists. Matt chose three different We Love Colors Splash Color Long Sleeve Scoop Neck Leotards for Funtown's hoopdancers at the festival.

Matt told We Love Colors that the splash leotards were a big hit and "I had no trouble finding my performers in the middle of hundreds of children and family members."

City of Miami Gardens Trashion Fashion Show 2011

On May 5th, 2011 the City of Miami Gardens hosted the Trashion Show, a contest/runway show featuring the latest trash recycled-into-designer fashion presented by students from various schools in Miami Gardens. "It’s amazing to see what creative minds can do with the stuff people deem no longer useful!"

The contest was open to all trashion/fashion designers from grades 3-12. Prizes and recognition went to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize winners in all three categories and an overall grand prize winner.

We Love Colors donated tights to the event - check out our turquoise & splash tights in action!

We Love Colors was there to sit on the panel of "judges" - Project Runway style! Check out this footage we shot of our splash tights on the Trashion Runway:

Yes! I love tights.

Even though I do love a good pair of tights, the climate we live in doesn't really encourage them that often. If we lived somewhere colder I’d definitely wear them more.


We Love Colors has tights for women of all shapes and sizes: How important is fit when it comes to your clothing choices?
I like things to fit me pretty well. If my clothes don’t fit how I’d like, I usually re-work them with my trusty sewing machine until they do.


Do you just throw on what you have, or are you meticulous about everything fitting properly?
In the ten minutes I give myself to get dressed in the morning, I tend to throw things on quickly and then tweak them super quickly to fit well: A belt to cinch here, a tuck there, etc.


Comfort is important to most moms, but we generally would like it if our "comfortable clothes" also look awesome! Did you find your We Love Colors tights to fit in the "comfort zone?”
Umm yes. These tights were so comfy. Well made with nice and durable fabric. And the waistband was definitely muffin top concealing friendly if you know what I'm saying. ;)


What is your favorite color to wear? To decorate with?
I love to wear green. Someone told me it was “my color” once and that always stuck with me.
I like to decorate with coral, aqua, yellow and gray right now.


Why do you love these colors so much?
I like colors that are bright but not over the top and these colors feel like they fit that. No neon's or anything too loud but not too many plain jane neutrals either.


Compared to tights that you have previously worn, what did you enjoy most about wearing a We Love Colors product (ie: durability, thickness, tag in the back)?
I really liked that they felt snag resistant when pulling them on and that the sizing was super accurate. No droopy drawers here!
