We're super excited to introduce you to the ever so sweet Tara of Mix and Match Fashion! Tara is an adorable school teacher who has some of the most fabulous style we've ever seen. When you are getting ready for your day, does the idea of tights usually get you excited to get dressed?

In the colder months, tights are essential when wearing a skirt or dress. However, I am one to stick with more neutral colors in tights (generally black, gray, or just plain nude hose). When its freezing, I love sweater tights! They keep me cozy all day long. I also feel that tights help give me a better shape to the bottom portion of my body, which is always a good thing!

If not, what could make tights a more central accessory in your wardrobe?

Tights are not always the most comfortable thing to wear, so comfort is key! Also, a lot of times the waist band of the tights doesn't stay put, so that can be annoying. I also need to become more brave with wearing colored tights!

We Love Colors has tights for women of all shapes and sizes: How important is fit when it comes to your clothing choices?
Being petite, (I'm only 5-2), fit is extremely important. I think it is most difficult to find pants, dresses, and skirts that are the proper length right off the rack. Alterations can get expensive, so I try as much as possible to only buy things that pretty much are the perfect length.

Do you just throw on what you have, or are you meticulous about everything fitting properly?

            Although I do have my lazy days, (don't we all?) I try as much as possible to only wear things that fit me properly.  I especially find this hard with bottoms as I'm constantly losing/gaining the same ten pounds (haha).  I usually will plan my outfits out the night before, and will try everything on to make sure it looks okay.

Comfort is important to most moms, but we generally would like it if our "comfortable clothes" also look awesome! Did you find your We Love Colors tights to fit in the "comfort zone?"
I'm not a mom, but I am a teacher and am responsible for caring for kids all day long.  Honestly, these tights were some of the most comfortable that I have ever tried.  I found the waistband to be perfect.  It wasn't too tight and didn't create rolls, and it stayed put all day!

What is your favorite color to wear? To decorate with?
Now this is a tough question.  I absolutely love incorporating color into both my wardrobe and home decoration.  My favorite color to wear is probably turquoise, but I pretty much will wear any color.  As far as decorating, this question comes at an excellent time.  My husband and I just bought our first condo, and are so excited to decorate it.  I believe that the colors you choose in your home should reflect your personality and style.  My husband is into dark colors, such as grays and blacks.  I am the complete opposite.  So we are going with a mixture of both of us, and are doing grays, turquoise, teal, and orange.

Why do you love these colors so much?
I have always been attracted to the bright and colorful.  I think bold colors make a statement, and it is so much fun to work with them.  Looking at them makes me happy and brightens my mood.

Compared to tights that you have previously worn, what did you enjoy most about wearing a We Love Colors product (ie: durability, thickness, tag in the back)?

Again, We Love Colors tights were some of the most comfortable I have ever worn. I didn't have to keep pulling them up, and they were quite thick and didn't feel like they would run easily. I also loved the fit of the waistband.

When you are getting ready for your day, does the idea of tights usually get you excited to get dressed?

Since I live in a cooler climate, wearing my favorite skirts and dresses requires me to wear tights 10 out of 12 months per year. Anything that can keep me in my favorite wardrobe pieces year round gets me excited for sure!

We Love Colors has tights for women of all shapes and sizes: How important is fit when it comes to your clothing choices?

Fit is incredibly important to me because when a garment fits well, it is comfortable and flattering. Those two qualities are key when dressing a “Mommy” body.

Do you just throw on what you have, or are you meticulous about everything fitting properly?

I wouldn’t say meticulous, but over the last few years I have definitely gotten more picky about how well my clothing fits me. If it doesn’t fit, it’s going in the Goodwill bag or directly to a friend who can fit into it better than I can.

These tights definetely held up to my high standard of comfort! Usually I cannot wait to get my tights off at the end of the day, at the end of my day with WLC I left them on. Right up there with yoga pant comfort. These could even be used under pants as a layering piece for warmth.

What is your favorite color to wear? To decorate with?

My favorite colors to wear are blues and greens because I feel like they accentuate my eyes. I also love those colors in my home.

Why do you love these colors so much?

I find these colors soothing and calming. I guess it doesn’t hurt that I have two boys, I am kind of programmed to love blue!

Compared to tights that you have previously worn, what did you enjoy most about wearing a We Love Colors product (ie: durability, thickness, tag in the back)?

As I previously mentioned, the comfort is unlike any tight I have ever worn. Also, they passed my ring test. Many a pair of tights has been ruined before I even got them all the way on my body, the prongs of my wedding ring would snag them! I pulled these right up with my ringed hand and they were completely un-phased. Overall, the quality of this product cannot be beat!

When you are getting ready for your day, does the idea of tights usually get you excited to get dressed?
I haven't thought about tights much over the past few years. I've been wearing a lot of jeans while I raise little kids in a pretty casual city. But I'm excited about the colors, soft texture, and opacity of We Love Colors tights, and I would like to try more easy day dresses and casual skirts with them.

If not, what could make tights a more central accessory in your wardrobe?
My own willingness to try new things -- I'd like to wear daytime dresses and skirts more often, now that my kids are a bit easier to manage. Good tights will provide shapely leg coverage in cooler seasons. They'll be useful 3/4 of the year in northern Wisconsin!

We Love Colors has tights for women of all shapes and sizes: How important is fit when it comes to your clothing choices?
I pay attention to fit. I find that billowing clothing, minimalist straight lines, and overly tight items aren't the best choices for my figure. I'm always seeking shapes and sizes that fit and flatter, skimming gently.

Do you just throw on what you have, or are you meticulous about everything fitting properly?
Depends on whether I'll be seen in public! I quickly check at least 270 degrees of my outfit if I'll be seen quite a bit. If I spot a problem, I'll work with belting, tucking, buttoning, unbuttoning, a different cardigan or jacket shape, camisole, different undergarments, or distraction with accessories. I will have a tailor tweak timeless pieces like wool slacks and pencil skirts.

Absolutely! I -have- worn tights a lot in years past (pre-kids and finding flattering jeans), and I'm fussy about them. The We Love Colors tights were soft and thick; I felt my lumps were controlled, yet I felt entirely comfortable, confident, and cozy.

What is your favorite color to wear? To decorate with?
I love to wear teal and other green-blues, but I often decorate with burgundies. I plan to add more of it to my wardrobe -- like these maroon tights!

Why do you love these colors so much?
They are rich and exotic. They go well with either gold or silver and all sorts of neutrals. They flatter my skin tone, eyes, and hair, which sit between cool and warm.

Compared to tights that you have previously worn, what did you enjoy most about wearing a We Love Colors product (ie: durability, thickness, tag in the back)?
The tag in the back will be so handy! Why don't more companies do this? A tag tells me who made the tights I like best so I can purchase more; and it tells me in an instant which is the "back" side. I also appreciated the smooth, soft thickness, the opacity, the sturdy but comfortable toe seam, and the prospect of so many colors to choose from.
